A really famous guy once said: "Humans are beings of contradiction."

So I guess it would make sense that our government makes none.

It was once declared that church and state should be separate, yet our money says we trust in an imaginary friend in the sky. It's not good to have church and state together, and yet we ignore what's best for our people, merely because our decisions might collide with the teachings of an old book.

I find it silly, that we talk about impartiality, fairness and logic, when we act like we're irrational, biased and afraid. I find it horrible that to communicate our ideas, we have to first apologize, or try to sugarcoat things. It's stupid, really. People want to make big changes without taking small steps, they want dominance and stability and peace, at the expense of the wealth, time, labor, land and happiness of others. Land of the lazy, home of the convenient. Instead of fighting for the right to be free, it's like we fought for the freedom of being ignorant.

Now, don't take it the wrong way, I'm by no means a pessimist, but I really do see the world like this. I know there's a way to fix it, and I know many other people do, but we're either too lazy to do anything about it, or, knowing our lack of power and influence, unwilling to band together to attain the power needed. We watch our TVs, eat the bullshit and follow like sheep. I'm not saying it's cool to rebel, but what I am saying is that sheep get sent to the slaughter, and nobody gives them the right to complain since they walked there themselves. It's incredible how people do nothing for their sitaution, and yet have the nerve to complain about things. All I'm saying is, don't expect anything except an "I told you so", you get no pity from me.
